Sunday, January 26th: Perge, Aspendos, and Side Tour (Optional Full-day Sightseeing Tour)
Perge is an ancient city that once served as the capital of the Pamphylia region. It is also known for its blend of historical and mystical touch of the Mediterranean region since it has been created by mixing Mediterranean roots with modern life in many areas. Aspendos is an ancient Greco-Roman city that was situated on the Eurymedon River about 16 km inland from the Mediterranean Sea. It is famous for having one of the best-preserved Roman theaters in the entire Mediterranean world. Side is a city that includes the modern resort town and the ruins of the ancient city. Imposing monuments of antiquity, such as the Roman bath and the columns of the Apollo temple by the sea.
Monday, January 27th: Antalya Old Town Tour (Optional Sightseeing Tour)
A tour of Antalya’s Old Town, known as “Kaleiçi”, offers a fascinating journey through history. Explore the ancient alleyways and Ottoman-era homes, and capture incredible photos along the way. One of the highlights of the tour is Hadrian’s Gate, a magnificent Roman monument that dates back to the 2nd century AD. This historical site, along with several mosques and other significant landmarks, can be admired during a 5.5 km ‘runseeing’ tour of the Old Town.
Tuesday, January 28th: Antalya Aquarium Tour (Optional Sightseeing Tour)
The Aquarium is a popular attraction in Antalya, known for its impressive collection of marine life and interactive displays. The Antalya Aquarium is one of the world’s largest aquariums, with a tunnel aquarium that is 131m (430 feet) long and 3m (10 feet) wide. The water capacity exceeds 7.5 million liters. Featuring 40 different kinds of aquariums, you can see aquatic life of all sizes.
Wednesday, January 29th: Olympos and Phaselis Tour (Optional Sightseeing Tour)
Olympos, an ancient city located in a valley on the southern coast of Türkiye, also known as Çıralı. With its hippie atmosphere, tree houses, and beaches alongside the ancient ruins, and the eternal flames of Chimera, and sharing the sea with Loggerhead (Carreta Carreta) sea turtles. Phaselis is a Greek and Roman city on the coast of ancient Lycia. Phaselis was once a major trading port known for its three harbors, which are still visible today and used as beaches.
Thursday, January 30th: Düden and Kurşunlu Waterfalls Tour (Optional Sightseeing Tour)
These natural wonders in Türkiye take on a unique charm when surrounded by the serenity of winter. These waterfalls, divided into Upper and Lower sections, offer a mesmerizing experience. To reach the waterfalls, you’ll follow a well-maintained trail that winds its way through the forest. The trail is relatively easy to navigate, making it suitable for visitors of all ages and fitness levels. Along the way, you can observe the native plant life and bird species that call the park home.

Saturday, February 01st: Historical Peninsula Tour (This Full-day Sightseeing Tour is Included in Program Fees)
Topkapı Palace, also known as the Seraglio, served as the main residence and administrative headquarters of the Ottoman sultans until the construction of Dolmabahçe Palace. The museum collection includes Ottoman clothing, weapons, armor, miniatures, … etc. Sultanahmet is the historic center of Istanbul and a present-day UNESCO Heritage Site. This neighborhood is home to some of the most stunning landmarks such as Hagia Sofia and the Blue Mosque. Hagia Sofia which was built as a Christian church in the 6th century CE (532-537) under the direction of the Byzantine emperor Justinian the First, in subsequent centuries became a mosque, museum, and a mosque again. The building reflects the religious changes that have played out in the region over the centuries.

The Bosphorus Boat Tour is one of the most popular and unique forms of entertainment on your Istanbul visit. It is also one of the best ways to discover and enjoy the most beautiful sights and sounds of the city over the sea. In the fisherman village, you can wander through narrow streets lined with colorful houses, visit local shops selling handmade crafts and souvenirs, and interact with friendly villagers.
Monday, February 03rd: Taksim, Istiklal Street, and Galata Tower Tour with Dinner (Optional Sightseeing Tour)
Taksim Square, located in Beyoğlu in the European part of Istanbul, and considered the heart of modern Istanbul, with the central station of the Istanbul Metro network. The square is also the location of the Republic Monument, which commemorates the 5th anniversary of the foundation of the Republic of Türkiye in 1923. Istiklal Street, also known as Istiklal Caddesi, is a vibrant 1.5 km long pedestrian street that is lined with stores, restaurants, cafes, and often street performances. The Galata Tower is an old Genoese tower that was built as a watchtower at the highest point of Galata with a 360-degree view of Istanbul visible from its observation deck.

Wednesday, February 05th: Traditional Clothes Wearing Day (Free Day)
Traditional Clothes Wearing Day is a celebration of cultural diversity and heritage. On this day, students wear their traditional clothing, showing the rich variety and beauty of their cultural attire. In addition, there will be a photo session all over the campus with all students. It is not obligatory to participate, however, as an international program, it would be a great opportunity to show and teach other fellow students about your history and culture.
Thursday, February 06th: Spice Bazaar and Galata Bridge Tour with Dinner (Optional Sightseeing Tour)
The Spice Bazaar, also called the Egyptian Bazaar, is an old market in Istanbul’s Eminönü district and one of the largest bazaars in Istanbul. It’s famous for its amazing smells and tastes. After exploring the Spice Bazaar, taking a short walk across the Galata Bridge is a must. This bridge goes over the Golden Horn, linking the historic Eminönü area to the lively Karaköy neighborhood. As you walk on the bridge, you will see many fishermen as well as seafood restaurants where you can enjoy tasty Turkish seafood dishes.
Friday, February 07th: Golden Horn and Bosphorus Yacht Tour with Farewell Dinner (Optional Sightseeing Tour)
The tour typically starts from the Golden Horn, a historic and natural harbor that divides the European side of Istanbul into two parts. Leaving the Golden Horn behind, the yacht will navigate the famous Bosphorus Strait. This waterway is the natural boundary that separates Europe and Asia, and it’s one of the most picturesque and historically significant stretches of water in the world. As the sun sets and the Bosphorus comes alive with lights, we will transform into a floating restaurant for a memorable farewell dinner as music and dances will accompany us throughout the night.
